The role involves overseeing a diverse client portfolio spanning multiple sectors, including limited companies, SMEs and charities. Responsibilities include day-to-day bookkeeping, control account reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts. Strong organisational skills are essential, as you'll be managing your own workload, addressing client queries as they arise, and assisting other departments such as accounts, audit, and payroll when required.
This role is Full Time Monday to Friday - Office Based 37.5 Hours. Salary is up to £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Duties:- Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts
- Preparing and filing VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC guidelines
- Attending client premises to undertake bookkeeping role on-site which includes preparation of management information for clients
- Dealing with client queries as and when they arise
