Overview: A long-established Chartered Accountancy firm with a reputation for quality, trust, and a team-first culture is now looking to welcome a new senior tax professional to their growing team! With flexibility on office location and scope to blend working from home and in the office, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to level up their tax career in a flexible and supportive environment.

This role will be varied, hands-on and impactful - advising across a wide range of taxes, mainly IHT, CGT and Income Tax for individuals and trusts, but with occasional exposure to Payroll and SDLT. There’s a great mix of compliance, planning and advisory, and no two days will feel the same!

Salary is up to £55,000 depending on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties:

  • Provide practical tax advice and planning across IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Trusts
  • Support on SDLT, Payroll Tax and business client matters where needed
  • Review and train junior team members
  • Research and resolve technical tax queries and challenges
  • Collaborate directly with partners on client-facing planning projects
  • Prepare and review Self-Assessment, CGT and IHT returns
  • Work with Lloyds Underwriters, HNW individuals, Trusts and more
  • Contribute to the firm’s advisory strength with clear and confident communication
