Seeking to expand their busy team of 12, this is a role playing a key part in managing international freight movements, coordinating global supply chains and ensuring the smooth delivery of shipments across air, sea and road freight.

Daily responsibilities might range from:

  • Managing international import and export shipments
  • Liaising with freight carriers, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers and overseas suppliers
  • Coordinating international shipments from manufacturing sites to global markets
  • Obtaining freight rates and managing transportation costs
  • Preparing customs and shipping documentation
  • Managing logistics enquiries by phone and email
  • Tracking shipments and resolving logistical issues
  • Coordinating with warehouse operations and stock movements
