The Role

Working closely with Partners and Senior Associates, you will advise on a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

You will gain exposure to high-quality work across multiple sectors while developing your technical expertise within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of employment matters with appropriate supervision.
  • Advising clients on a range of employment law issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, discrimination, TUPE and unfair dismissal.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements and other employment documentation.
  • Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims and employment litigation.
  • Supporting Partners and senior lawyers on complex employment matters and strategic client advice.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
  • Contributing to team initiatives, knowledge sharing and business development activities.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with NQ–2 years' PQE in Employment Law.
  • Strong academic background with relevant employment law experience gained during training or post-qualification.
  • Excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills.
  • Commercially aware with a practical and solutions-focused approach.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player with a genuine interest in developing within Employment Law.
  • Keen to build a long-term career within a leading national practice.
