With a very flexible working pattern, this firm really allows you to spread your wings without the micromanagement of a scary partner over your shoulder! A supporting and welcoming environment with training opportunities included. The role is Monday - Friday with a hybrid working pattern. Salary starts at £24,400 plus benefits.
Duties:
- Managing bookkeeping activities across a varied client base
- Handling VAT return preparation and submissions
- Working alongside senior team members to build technical capability and progress towards responsibility for your own client portfolio
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, helping to maintain strong relationships and a high standard of service
- Providing day-to-day support to client managers with compliance requirements and ad-hoc queries
What we’re looking for:
A successful candidate will have circa 2-4 years experience within a UK accountancy firm and live within a 45-minute commute.
