Our client, a well-established Drainage Contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join their team, delivering responsive drainage repairs across social housing/council properties in the Thurrock and Havering areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who is confident working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering high-quality service within occupied residential properties.

The Role

  • Attending day-to-day reactive drainage jobs across a local patch, including:
  • Unblocking external drains, stacks, sinks, basins, and baths
  • Operating rotary machines, cable machines, and high-pressure jetting equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving drainage issues efficiently and safely
  • Managing a high-volume workload of 10+ jobs per day
  • Working professionally within residents’ homes and delivering excellent customer service

About You

  • Proven drainage experience (10+ years ideal)
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of drainage equipment including jetting units and mechanical clearing tools
  • Essential experience within social housing or council properties
