Our client, a well-established Drainage Contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join their team, delivering responsive drainage repairs across social housing/council properties in the Thurrock and Havering areas. The Role
- Attending day-to-day reactive drainage jobs across a local patch, including:
- Unblocking external drains, stacks, sinks, basins, and baths
- Operating rotary machines, cable machines, and high-pressure jetting equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving drainage issues efficiently and safely
- Managing a high-volume workload of 10+ jobs per day
- Working professionally within residents’ homes and delivering excellent customer service
About You
- Proven drainage experience (10+ years ideal)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of drainage equipment including jetting units and mechanical clearing tools
- Essential experience within social housing or council properties
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
