We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Mechanical Project Engineer to join a leading building services business in Westerham. This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands–on experience while working towards a Building Services Engineering degree through a 3–year university day release programme. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop into a skilled engineer.
What you'll do:
- Day to day running of Projects.
- Estimating Project from drawings.
- Take off materials/plant and place orders.
- Attending site meetings and carry out site surveys.
- Coordination between other contractors.
- Take instructions from clients, make necessary changes.
- Cost variations.
- Produce final account.
- Compile Operating & Maintenance manual.
- Safety and Quality control of the project.
- Understand how air conditioning ventilation and heating systems work.
- Design, pipe sizing and duct sizing.
- AutoCAD.
- Work alongside experienced engineers to learn practical skills.
