A thriving accountancy firm is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. Known for their supportive culture, this firm offers a full range of accountancy, taxation, payroll and advisory services.
Job Details
- Full Time Role
- Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week with 4 Days work from home!
- Salary depends on experience/qualifications.
Duties
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients across a range of industries
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with statutory deadlines
- Processing monthly CIS returns accurately and on time
- Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts from both complete and incomplete records
- Liaising directly with clients and HMRC to resolve queries efficiently
- Providing oversight and support for the bookkeeping work carried out by colleagues
- Attending relevant training and development seminars as required
- Carrying out general administrative and office duties
What we're looking for
A successful candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience within UK accounting practice and live within a 1 hour commute of East Grinstead.
