Residential Real Estate Paralegal – Brighton | Full-Time | Hybrid/Flexible Working Options

My client, a well-established and highly regarded National law firm, is seeking a Paralegal to join their modern and successful property team at their Brighton office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to become part of a thriving and collaborative environment, working closely with an experienced fee-earner on a caseload of high-quality real estate matters. The role promises varied and stimulating work, with clear prospects for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the management of live conveyancing files and transactions from instruction to post-completion
  • Supporting a fee-earner across all aspects of real estate work
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other legal professionals
  • Conducting title reviews, raising and responding to enquiries, and preparing reports (with supervision)
  • Drafting financial statements and invoices
  • Completing file opening procedures and AML compliance
  • Handling administrative tasks relating to exchange, completion, and post-completion
  • Maintaining internal and external systems and records
  • Ensuring an exceptional standard of client care throughout the process

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in residential or commercial conveyancing within a legal environment
  • A solid understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
  • Practical experience in raising enquiries, reviewing replies, and report drafting (under supervision)
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, commercially aware mindset and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Legal qualifications are desirable; support is available for future qualification routes
