We are seeking a highly experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our clients well-established legal practice in Sevenoaks. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Legal Secretary with conveyancing experience or a Paralegal with a minimum of 12 months' experience in residential property law, looking to take on greater responsibility and contribute meaningfully to a busy and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
  • Drafting legal documentation and correspondence
  • Handling Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions
  • Managing client communication and ensuring excellent customer service
  • Carrying out legal research and administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Proactively managing files and ensuring all deadlines are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months' experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or a Legal Secretary with extensive conveyancing exposure
  • Strong working knowledge of the conveyancing process
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident working independently and using own initiative
  • Professional, articulate, and client-focused
