We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected and rapidly expanding subcontractor specialising in brickwork and scaffolding services across the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are now looking for an ambitious and commercially astute Commercial Manager to play a pivotal role in the next phase of their success.

The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of the commercial performance of multiple live projects, leading from pre-construction through to final account. Working alongside senior leadership, site teams and commercial staff, you'll help drive profitability, strengthen commercial controls and support the ongoing growth of the business.
The Role
- Lead and support the commercial team across multiple projects
- Oversee valuations, variations, cost control and final accounts
- Negotiate contracts and subcontract agreements
- Manage forecasting, reporting and cash flow
- Identify commercial risks and maximise opportunities
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and site teams
- Play a key role in the continued growth of the business
What They're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge within construction
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience within brickwork, scaffolding or specialist subcontracting is advantageous but not essential.
