This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working. Salary is up to £35,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
Duties:
- Day to day bookkeeping activities for a range of clients, including completing VAT calculations and submissions
- Handle the preparation and submission of CIS returns
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Assisting with year-end accounts
- HMRC liaison and submissions
- Take responsibility for organising workloads and ensuring all regular tasks and deadlines are met
- Support managers with drafting accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Additional responsibilities added with experience
A successful candidate for this position will have circa 1 year+ UK accountancy practice experience and be able to jump straight into this role. You must be within a reasonable commuting distance of Bexhill.
