Job description:

Responsibilities

• Accurately pack products for shipment, ensuring that all items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively.
• Assist in materials handling, ensuring that products are stored in designated areas and easily accessible for order fulfilment.
• Conduct quality control checks on packed items to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised and efficient warehouse environment.
• Operate machinery as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as part of daily duties.
• Proficiency in picking and packing techniques to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Familiarity with materials handling procedures and best practices.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in quality control processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
