Carry out weekly supplier ordering, creating shipping plans, updating ERP system with new orders.
Customer demand management: obtaining orders/schedules, updating ERP system, and creating shipping plans for the suppliers, using customer portals.
Monitoring and distributing supplier arrears, follow up where required and highlight potential supply issues.
Liaising with other departments to ensure all samples/phase out parts are ordered in line with their requirements.
Carry out detailed analysis of supplier schedules to ensure stock is in place as per the company’s stock holding policies.
Reconciliations: Reconcile shipping plans from suppliers to ERP system to ensure accuracy, ensure only parts are shipped to the correct locations.
