Recruitment Solutions Workforce are currently recruiting CNC operators with experience within the automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors to join our client's team. Attractive rates of pay offered. Increased rates of pay are available for the right candidates depending on skills set and experience.
Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of operating CNC machines ideally Milling and Turning using FANUC, MAZAK and SIEMENS
- Ability to problem solve any technical issues arising in machining cells
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive industry
- Experience in working in a medium/high volume production environment
- Understanding of quality systems and completing quality checks/gauging
- Attention to detail is essential
- Able to work with minimal supervision
Duties:
- Operate CNC milling machines
- Responsible for monitoring product quality via visual inspection and/or via gauge measurement
- Monitor and record production output vs target and record any downtime and rejects
- Carry out daily machining checks
- Always maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, quality and machine availability
