Main Purpose of Role
Efficiently pick and prepare material against allocated works orders, in line with the data management system.
Outcomes of Role
- Picking works orders to start date
- Ensure that kit is picked with no over or under material concerns, maintaining stock accuracy
- Maintain the highest levels of housekeeping
Responsibilities
- Pick parts accurately whilst maintaining GRN control
- Use correct ESD packaging during storage
- All opened packaging is sealed and quantities identified clearly and stored safely in correct locations
- Housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the picking process
- Accurately receive and pack returned material from production
- Company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care
- Any other duties deemed necessary
Person Specification:
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Good numerical and literacy levels
- Previous stores/warehouse experience is essential
- Manual Handling
- Fork Reach Truck License is desirable
- Knowledge of electronic components advantageous
Salary: £26150 plus pension, cashplan healthcare and Death in Service 6x salary.
Working Hours: 8am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 1pm Friday.
