Main Purpose of Role
To inspect assembled products prior to release as per NPI and customer specific requirements.
Outcomes of Role
- Ensure product is built to customer requirements
- Achieve 100% conformity to relevant IPC standards
- Satisfied internal and external customers
- Reduce/eliminate outgoing defects reaching the customer
- Ensure Zero Defect Escapes
Responsibilities
- Inspect NPI first off unit prior to release in line with IPC-A-610 standards and/or customer specific requirements
- Inspect box build assembled units prior to release in line with relevant IPC standards and/or customer specific requirements
- Check the quality of live throughput (Random product line audits)
- Conducting FOD audits
- Liaise with departments on any potential risks or quality concerns with the product
- Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care.
- Feedback on any Quality issues
- Any other duties deemed necessary
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Previous experience in a Quality role within manufacturing
- Adequate numeracy and literacy skills
- Computer literacy / IT competent
- Working in teams
- Good communication skills
Salary £26500 plus pension, cashplan healthcare and Death in Service 6x salary.
Working Hours: 8am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 1pm Friday
