RSW are looking to recruit a Fitter for a client in the Bridgend area. The position is in the heavy engineering sector to repair and install used and new Balers, Crushers, Conveyors and Shears across the UK.
- Must be able to fault find
- Must be experienced within the field
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Must be able to travel and stay away when required
- Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business
- Health and safety regulations are followed
Working away and weekend work are a must when needed. The client is a breakdown service and works throughout the UK; this could be planned work or possibly an emergency breakdown at short notice. Starting salary is between £19-£23 per hour depending solely on experience. The candidate will be given a works phone and van. 40+ hours a week; as stated above, you must be able to travel and be available to stay away when needed. Time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays. Pension scheme where you pay in 5% and the company pays in 3%.
