RSW are looking to recruit a Buyer for a permanent role with their client, a specialist manufacturer based in Cwmbran.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Review Buy list daily.
- Ensuring RFQ's are sent and PQ are reviewed and orders placed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring problem parts for launch are communicated and escalated as a priority.
- Running and ordering to the buy list, supporting other team members.
- Looking at long term solutions for problem materials.
- Reviewing the Open PO report to push out any orders that are coming in earlier than they should and pull in orders required that are not arriving in time.
- Investigation of market trends.
- Assisting with ad hoc buying which comes into the purchasing inbox.
- Costings, loading pricing into costings when they come through (not especially frequent).
- Supporting other team members as required.
- Supporting Sales.
