We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to handle materials efficiently within a warehouse environment. Responsibilities * Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring that all items meet quality standards. * Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. * Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively. * Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all packed items are free from defects. * Assist with picking and packing orders as required, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment. * Handle heavy lifting and materials handling tasks, adhering to safety protocols at all times. * Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety guidelines. * Utilise forklift equipment when necessary for moving large items or pallets within the warehouse. Requirements * Previous experience in a warehouse or packing role is preferred, with a solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes. * Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment as needed. * Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift. * Familiarity with quality control procedures is highly desirable. * Experience with warehouse management systems will be beneficial for tracking inventory accurately. * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure efficient packing operations. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well within a team environment.
