We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hygiene Operative to join our Food Production Client’s team. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in production.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily cleaning duties to agreed standards and schedules, ensuring all areas of the factory are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.
  • Strict adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and safe operating procedures, whilst promoting a health and safety culture to safeguard all employees.
  • Strict adherence to Technical and Quality policies, proactively contributing to the business’ food safety and quality culture, whilst continually maintaining high product quality and GMP standards.
  • Maintain and clean all equipment to highest standards.
  • Ensure safe use of all cleaning and hygiene equipment where required.
  • Cleaning of ancillary equipment (waste bins etc.).
  • Ensure factory audit readiness at all times, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
  • Deliver training as required to new starters in like roles with strict reference to provided training materials.
  • Any other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of EHS and Quality principles within manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
