We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our Client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling and warehouse operations, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and basic equipment maintenance.
Duties:
- Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilise a forklift for moving heavy items within the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including shipping and receiving documentation.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels using a warehouse management system.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs on equipment when necessary.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
Experience:
