The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.

To support our Client's growing Technical Team in the disassembly of various aircraft projects to perform aircraft disassembly as directed by GPC team, document the parts removed and liaise with Logistics team. You will perform daily work scope based on aircraft parts needing removal as directed by the customer/Head of Technical or Technical Leader. Assists Technical Leader with any work that needs to be completed.

Key Duties

  • Perform complete or partial disassembly of aircraft in accordance with manufacturer and company procedures.
  • Identify, tag, and document removed components for inventory and tracking.
  • Inspect and assess parts for potential resale, overhaul, or disposal.
  • Remove engines, avionics, landing gear, flight control surfaces, and other major components.
  • Ensure proper handling, packaging, and storage of removed aircraft parts to prevent damage.
  • Operate lifting equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely during disassembly processes.
  • Follow all environmental and safety regulations related to hazardous materials and waste disposal.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all disassembly activities and parts removed.
  • Work from engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and disassembly plans.
  • Coordinate with logistics, quality control, and inventory departments regarding part disposition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the disassembly work area.
  • Support compliance audits by providing detailed reports and traceability of removed parts.
  • Assist with aircraft teardown scheduling and planning.
  • Follow FAA, EASA, or other applicable aviation authority guidelines for part removal and documentation.
  • Ensure proper deactivation and grounding of aircraft systems before beginning disassembly.

Schedule Monday to Friday approx 7am to 4:30pm.
