We are seeking a reliable and dedicated RTITB Counterbalance Driver to join our Client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to handle various materials and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a lorry to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments using a warehouse management system.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including verifying the quantity and quality of items.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Provide basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- Utilise basic maths skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities during loading and unloading processes.
