We are currently looking to recruit a successful Paint Sprayer that enjoys working with their hands and has an analytical mind. The successful candidate must be able to physically meet the demands of the job and have an eye for detail.
Job duties:
- Preparing fabrications/manufactured components for commercial painting
- Spraying fabrications/components
- Masking & filling bodywork
- Setting up painting equipment
Preferred skills:
- Experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
Hours of Work:
- Mornings: Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 14:30 (1/2 Hr Lunch Unpaid), Friday 06:00 – 13:30 (1/2 Hr Lunch Unpaid) - 43 hrs Morning
- Afternoons: Monday – Thursday 13:45 – 22:15 (1/2 Hr Lunch Unpaid) - Minimum 39 Hour Week before any overtime is paid.
Overtime:
- Time & half on basic for hours worked Monday – Saturday.
- Double time on basic for hours worked Sunday.
Qualifications:
No qualifications required – but experience in a similar environment would be beneficial.
Wages:
The position is hourly paid and fully qualified and experienced candidates can expect to be paid to £14 per hour basic & £4.62 per hr for shift work.
