Up to £28k negotiable depending on experience plus benefits. Recruitment Solutions Workforce are currently searching for a Finance Assistant to join our clients’ team, based in Caldicot. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the small finance team with various day-to-day responsibilities, working closely with the wider operations team across the business.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of daily bank transactions;
- Ongoing maintenance of sales and purchase ledgers via SAP;
- Authorise, input and pay purchase ledger invoices;
- Assist with customer credit management and debtor control for sales ledger;
- Prepare month-end reconciliation and ad-hoc reports;
- Staff expenses management;
- Manage FX rates and contracts.
Skills and Experience
- Good level of general education, any on-the-job or formal accounts training would be beneficial.
- Happy and able to work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Able to multi-task.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
Full time: 8.30am – 5pm Mon – Thu, 8.30am – 3pm Fri. My client will also consider shorter hours over the 5 days.
