Up to £28k negotiable depending on experience plus benefits. Recruitment Solutions Workforce are currently searching for a Finance Assistant to join our clients’ team, based in Caldicot. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the small finance team with various day-to-day responsibilities, working closely with the wider operations team across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of daily bank transactions;
  • Ongoing maintenance of sales and purchase ledgers via SAP;
  • Authorise, input and pay purchase ledger invoices;
  • Assist with customer credit management and debtor control for sales ledger;
  • Prepare month-end reconciliation and ad-hoc reports;
  • Staff expenses management;
  • Manage FX rates and contracts.

Skills and Experience

  • Good level of general education, any on-the-job or formal accounts training would be beneficial.
  • Happy and able to work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.

Full time: 8.30am – 5pm Mon – Thu, 8.30am – 3pm Fri. My client will also consider shorter hours over the 5 days.
