RSW are looking to recruit a Dispatch Coordinator for a permanent role with their client, a government contract electronic manufacturing service.

Due to the nature of the business, all candidates will be subject to a Security Clearance check.

Main Purpose of Role

To assist with the running of the dispatch dept.

Ensuring finished goods stock is stored and dispatched to customers in an appropriate FIFO manner, whilst maintaining stock accuracy and traceability.

To assist with the organisation and management of all transport resources.

  • Accurate stock control of finished product
  • Efficient picking of finished goods using FIFO
  • Dispatch of finished product 100% correctly
  • Collating and reporting on all KPIs
  • Finished goods and dispatch area meets the highest levels of housekeeping and visual control
  • Job Scope – Responsibilities
  • Assist with the dispatch of customer orders to be delivered on time.
  • Ensure the safe and appropriate storage of finish products. With accurate stock records.
  • Ensure orders are booked out correctly, associated documentation is made available and appropriate records kept for each dispatch.
  • The loading of vehicles, adhering to health and safety standards and company procedures.
  • Update dept KPI’s while helping to achieve and continually improve targets.
  • Work closely with other departments within the business to ensure the successful shipment and delivery of all products.
  • Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care.

Person Specification

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good numerical and literacy levels
  • Previous Manual Handling training
  • Previous stores / warehouse experience
  • Hours of work
  • 8am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 1pm Friday
