RSW are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join their client in the Cardiff area.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors.

This role involves monitoring activities through CCTV and surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and implementing loss prevention strategies.

The Security Guard will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Operate CCTV and surveillance equipment to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when required to report criminal activity or disturbances.
  • Implement loss prevention measures to minimise theft or damage to property.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff while maintaining a professional demeanor.
