The Job
The roles and responsibilities of the Deputy Store Manager include:
- Supporting the Store Manager with sales performance monitoring
- Assist the Store Manager with recruitment and holiday planning
- Communicating financial targets and updates to the team
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and legal obligations
- Coach and developing the team members to build new skills
- Managing stock and processing deliveries efficiently
The Person
To be considered for the Deputy Store Manager position you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
- Retail Management experience (essential)
- A positive, can do attitude
- Ability to adapt to changes and remain calm under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support colleagues in growth and training
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
