The function of this position it to ensure accurate processing of Client & Business Payments and banking of receipts, including reconciling bank accounts and so much more!… Some main duties are as follows: Reconciliations of Client & Business bank accounts and petty cash Checking banking forecasts and applying funds where necessary Management of banking system for all payments including CHAPS, BACS and FPCs Setting up and completing CHAPS transactions as required by fee earners Completing bank deposit books Calculating and applying Client interest Maintaining Client ledgers Running housekeeping system reports … Various other ad-hoc duties to keep the position interesting and varied! A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong few years of experience as a Legal Cashier or higher with up to date knowledge of solicitor’s accounts rules. Working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday with hybrid opportunities available. Salary goes up to £35,000 + bonus + benefits. Higher salaries can always be discussed if needed.
