Overview
An exceptional and well-established Chartered Accountancy Practice is on the lookout for a NEW Client Manager to join their growing team in Eastbourne. Due to continued success and expansion, this is a newly created position offering genuine long-term career prospects and the opportunity to work with a welcoming and supportive team. You'll become a key point of contact for clients, supporting them with a broad range of accounts, tax and business advisory matters whilst building strong and lasting client relationships. A welcoming and collaborative working environment, combined with an ambitious growth strategy, makes this an exciting time to join. This role is Monday-Friday with hybrid working options available. Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.
Duties
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Support clients with corporation tax, personal tax and VAT matters
- Review work prepared by junior members of staff and provide technical guidance where required
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact
- Assist clients with day-to-day accountancy and taxation queries
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance obligations are met
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added and advisory services
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients where necessary
- Work closely with senior management on client service delivery and practice growth initiatives
What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate strong prior UK Practice experience with exposure to duties named above. Ideally be ACA qualified, although ACCA qualified and part-qualified candidates will also be considered. You must live within a 1hr commute of Eastbourne.
£27,000-£30,000 (neg according to experience)
