Overview
An innovative and rapidly growing chartered accountancy firm is looking to recruit in Brighton. The firm is known for its modern approach, inclusive culture, and commitment to continuous improvement. They work with a diverse client base including SMEs, large international groups, charitable organisations, and high net worth individuals, providing opportunity to be involved with an interesting and professionally engaging range of work. The salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed. This is a permanent position. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Duties
- Management of own client portfolio covering accounts and corporation tax returns
- Management of own portfolio of self-assessment and partnership tax returns
- Providing commercial business support to clients
- Experience with company secretarial matters including confirmation statements
- Working together with a team of managers
- Experience supervising junior members of the team and reviewing their work
- Tax advantaged share schemes e.g. EMI share options
- Venture capital schemes e.g. EIS/SEIS
- R&D and creative industries tax relief claims
- Involvement with business development activities
What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this role will have circa 2+ years post-qualification experience and a strong background in UK practice.
