We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Client in their established and supportive Finance Team.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining supplier and customer accounts, including regular account reconciliations
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash allocation
  • Updating financial records, journals, and ledgers to ensure accurate reporting
  • Supporting month-end procedures and preparing information for management reporting
  • Resolving invoice queries and liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments
  • Assisting with audit preparation and maintaining accurate financial documentation
  • Providing general support to the wider finance team as required
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and account reconciliations
  • Good communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across the business
  • Comfortable using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
