What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and pension schemes.
  • Managing business and personal tax compliance work for a range of clients.
  • Supporting clients with accounting, taxation, and general business queries.
  • Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts where required.
  • Contributing to tax planning and company statutory work.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
  • Supporting the ongoing growth and development of the practice.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ recent experience within a UK accountancy practice (essential).
  • Experience preparing accounts and handling business and personal tax compliance matters.
  • AAT, ACCA, ACA qualified, qualified by experience, or equivalent practical experience considered.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
