We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our clients’ busy and fast paced team where no two days are the same. The Sales Administrator role is central to the day to day running of the operation, supporting the sales function and keeping orders moving smoothly from point of sale through to delivery. As Sales Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring orders are processed efficiently and customers receive first class service at every stage. The Sales Administrator will work closely with the warehouse and transport teams to ensure deliveries run to plan.

The Role:

  • Managing the full order process from initial enquiry through to delivery and completion
  • Processing high volumes of customer orders accurately on the internal system
  • Preparing and issuing quotations in line with pricing and stock availability
  • Raising invoices and delivery notes and ensuring all documentation is correct
  • Liaising daily with carriers to arrange deliveries and resolve any transport queries
  • Coordinating with the warehouse to confirm stock availability and dispatch times
  • Handling incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries promptly
  • Monitoring outstanding orders and proactively updating customers on progress
  • Resolving any order discrepancies, delivery issues or queries in a professional manner
  • Maintaining and updating customer accounts, ensuring all records are accurate
  • Supporting the wider sales team with reports, administration and general office duties
  • Carrying out accurate data entry and system updates using Sage 200 and MS Office

About You:

  • Previous experience in administration, sales support or customer service
  • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Be competent with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have experience of Sage 200 (desirable)
