We’re recruiting for a client of ours based in Rochdale who are looking for an experienced Demand Planner, Supply Planner or Merchandise Planner with strong forecasting and stock optimisation experience. Candidates from retail merchandising, FMCG or consumer goods environments will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Perpetual analysis of customer forecasts making recommendations on changes.
  • Driving, promoting & executing efficiencies across your portfolio of products.
  • Maintaining excellent inter-departmental relationships.
  • Developing & maintaining congruous customer relationships.
  • Supplier management.
  • Delivering industry leading availability for your product portfolio.
  • Site space is managed and maintained, whilst not exceeding customer depth of day stock targets for your product portfolio.
  • Demonstrating best practice on supply chain solutions and inventory optimisation.

Candidate Profile:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years Supply Chain managerial experience.
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems and processes in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Ability to influence at all levels particularly about collaborative solutions.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office capability.
  • Customer Collaboration experience.
  • Forecasting Experience.
