Stock Accounts Payable in Rochdale

Are you organised, detail-oriented and experienced in Accounts Payable? We are currently recruiting for a Stock Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills and an eye for detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Processing supplier/international invoices relating to stock purchases. * Matching invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes. * Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies. * Investigating stock and invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments. * Ensuring invoices are accurately coded and processed within agreed deadlines. * Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end procedures. * Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers. About You: * Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger is desirable. * Experience dealing with stock invoices and purchase orders would be advantageous. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good organisational and time-management skills. * Confident using Microsoft Excel – to an intermediate level. * A proactive approach to resolving queries and meeting deadlines.
