Finance & Payroll Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and organised Finance & Payroll Assistant to join a friendly finance team on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with payroll, finance or accounts administration experience who is looking to join a supportive business and develop their career further. You'll play a key role in supporting the payroll process while also gaining exposure to wider finance duties within a busy team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supporting the end-to-end payroll process, including timesheets, employee records and payroll administration
• Maintaining accurate payroll and financial records
• Assisting with payroll queries and ensuring employee information is kept up to date
• Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
• Supporting bank reconciliations and general finance administration
• Using Microsoft Excel to analyse payroll and financial data
• Assisting with ad-hoc accounts and payroll tasks as required

Skills and Requirements

• Previous experience within Payroll, Payroll Administration, Finance Administration, Accounts Assistant or a similar finance role
• Payroll experience or exposure is highly desirable
• Confident using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and data analysis (essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• Available to start immediately or within the next two weeks
