We are looking for a Settlements Analyst to join our Client, a growing and innovative manufacturing business based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly analytical individual to join a busy team, taking responsibility for validating financial data, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring accurate reporting across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Reviewing and validating invoices, costs, and financial data to ensure accuracy
  • Carrying out detailed reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
  • Working with internal departments to identify and resolve data inaccuracies
  • Taking ownership of data quality and ensuring information is accurate and up to date
  • Completing data cleansing, processing, and analysis across a range of business information
  • Producing regular reports and management information to support business decisions
  • Supporting the development of internal systems and processes to improve efficiency
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve data performance
  • Providing monthly reporting packs and analysis to senior management

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills, including IF statements, VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work with teams across the business
  • Naturally inquisitive with the ability to investigate problems and get to the bottom of discrepancies
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Confident working independently and managing your own workload
  • Strong IT skills and comfortable working with large volumes of data
  • VBA experience would be advantageous
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, finance, data analysis, or a similar environment would be beneficial
