We are looking for a Settlements Analyst to join our Client, a growing and innovative manufacturing business based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly analytical individual to join a busy team, taking responsibility for validating financial data, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring accurate reporting across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Reviewing and validating invoices, costs, and financial data to ensure accuracy
- Carrying out detailed reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Working with internal departments to identify and resolve data inaccuracies
- Taking ownership of data quality and ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Completing data cleansing, processing, and analysis across a range of business information
- Producing regular reports and management information to support business decisions
- Supporting the development of internal systems and processes to improve efficiency
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve data performance
- Providing monthly reporting packs and analysis to senior management
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills, including IF statements, VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work with teams across the business
- Naturally inquisitive with the ability to investigate problems and get to the bottom of discrepancies
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Confident working independently and managing your own workload
- Strong IT skills and comfortable working with large volumes of data
- VBA experience would be advantageous
- Previous experience within manufacturing, finance, data analysis, or a similar environment would be beneficial
