We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Collections Officer to join a Team within the Financial Services Industry. As the Collections Officer, you will be mainly responsible for managing Overdue Accounts, Negotiating Payment Plans, and Maintaining positive Client Relationships, while adhering to regulatory and Company standards. This role is critical to ensuring timely Recovery of outstanding Debts and minimizing Financial Risk.

What you will be doing as the Collections Officer:

  • Provide first-class support for inbound and outbound calls, emails, webchats, and other correspondence
  • Work collaboratively with Internal Teams to resolve Disputes and Account issues.
  • Assist Customers facing complex financial challenges, identifying fair and appropriate solutions
  • Meet and exceed individual and team targets and performance KPIs
  • Adhere to Company policies and guidelines

Key Requirements for this role:

  • Proven previous experience working within Collections or similar role
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Computer Systems
  • Previous experience working to meet KPI’s
