Temporary AP – European Language Speaker in Bury

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
• Processing supplier payments and assisting with payment runs
• Handling supplier queries via email and telephone in English and a European language
• Liaising with international suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment queries
• Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records and ensuring invoices are correctly coded
• Monitoring outstanding invoices and ensuring payments are made within agreed terms
• Assisting with month-end procedures and account reconciliations
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience within Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or a similar finance role
• Fluency in English and at least one European language
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with international suppliers
• Good understanding of purchase ledger processes and supplier reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to commit to a temporary assignment
