Established for over 15 years, our Client has its Head Office in North Manchester. As a business, they pride themselves on being an ethical and sustainable Manufacturing business. They are now looking to recruit to meet growth plans for 2026 and to cover the increased workload due to a record year for TO in 2025.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE BOOKKEEPER / MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
- Annual Salary of between £30,000 – £40,000 – the range is significant as the Salary will be dependent on Qualifications and Experience
- Study Support – if needed and after probation
- Flexible start and finish times / hybrid after probation
- 25 Days Holidays – PLUS Bank Holidays
- Car Parking
- Annual Performance related bonus will be considered based on personal performance and profits
THE ROLE OF THE BOOKKEEPER / MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Will report to the MD – who is driven, ambitious, likeable, and personable. He is looking for someone who will take a hands-on, possibly ‘jack of all trades’ kind of character and approach. Your role will work across:
- Day to Day Finance and Accounts to include:
- Sales and Purchase Ledger – up to and including Month End
- Credit Control – to include Cash Flow Reporting
- Payroll – Monthly preparation and Payments
- Assist with Supplier relationship management – there will be an opportunity to learn about Import and Export processes and Accounting
- Preparation of detailed Monthly Management Accounts and Reporting – Payments In / Out etc.
- Year End – work with the External Accountants
- Office Administration (this is the jack of all trades bit…) – Office Supplies / Maintenance / Staff Welfare etc.
- Ad hoc duties as the role and business continues to grow and progress
