Recruitment Solutions are pleased to be partnering with our Client to recruit an Assistant Procurement Manager. Our Client is a major international multi-disciplinary Group of Companies that have been established for over 50 years. The role of Assistant Procurement Manager will work across multiple UK Divisions and will report to the Procurement Manager.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT MANAGER

  • Annual basic Salary of c £30,000 – £33,000
  • Annual Salary and Performance based Bonus Review
  • 25 days Holiday PLUS Bank Holidays
  • Flexible start and finish times – within core working hours
  • Hybrid working can be offered – you can also choose to base yourself in the office which offers fantastic facilities including a Restaurant

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO BE SUITED TO THE ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT MANAGER ROLE

  • Extensive Supplier Relationship Management and a proven understanding of Category Strategies
  • Experience of implementation of Category Strategies across Services
  • Experience of end to end Procurement Processes – to include Visits / undertake Commercial Analysis / Negotiations and Tender Reports
  • Experience of Tender Preparation
  • Query Management and Resolution working with Internal and External Stakeholders – acting as the first point of contact
  • Assist with Process Improvements
