Key Responsibilities for an Accounts Payable Assistant:

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Investigating and resolving 3-way match discrepancies
  • Managing invoice queries including pricing and quantity differences
  • Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting payment runs to ensure suppliers are paid on time
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries promptly
  • Assisting with general accounts payable administration as required

What we need from you as an Accounts Payable Assistant:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within an Accounts Payable role
  • Strong experience carrying out supplier reconciliations using Excel
  • Good understanding of purchase orders and 3-way matching processes
  • Confident communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Well organised, proactive, and able to manage workload effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
