We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Credit Controller to join our finance team on a temporary basis. Key Responsibilities: Manage the company’s credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. Monitor debtor balances and promptly follow up with customers regarding overdue payments. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or disputes. Generate and distribute regular aged debtor reports to senior management. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address and resolve billing issues. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit control activities. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable. Requirements: Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role. Strong understanding of credit control processes and procedures. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
