The role of Collections Advisor:

As a Collections Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers who are experiencing problems paying their secured finance agreement. You will work closely with customers to understand their individual circumstances and agree on appropriate solutions in line with our company policy. In addition to handling inbound and outbound calls, you will also respond to emails and other forms of correspondence from customers.

Your day-to-day as a Collections Advisor:

  • You’ll provide a first-class service to customers, handling inbound and outbound calls, email and other correspondence from customers experiencing financial difficulties.
  • Identifying and agreeing on appropriate and fair solutions for the customer, considering their individual circumstances and potential vulnerability.
  • Guiding and supporting each customer, ensuring the best and most effective customer experience.
  • Complying with the policy outlined in The Collections Manual and Customer Treatment Framework, working in accordance with FCA requirements and guidelines.
  • Adhering to all aspects of Treating Customers Fairly, consistently demonstrating the company’s values and behaviors.

To be successful in the role of Collections Advisor, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a regulated collections environment.
  • To have the ability to adapt to change and willingness to embrace and implement new ideas.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
