Location – Hybrid

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hardworking individual, with experience within a small to medium sized accountancy practice to join the team as a Part time Bookkeeper (Full Time Applicants may also be considered)

The company based in central Manchester provides a relaxed environment within nice offices

  • Flexitime
  • Hybrid working 1 days a week working from home 2 days office
  • Salary £27-35k DOE (pro rata)
  • You will be working collaboratively within the bookkeeping team to meet clients bookkeeping needs.

    A key part of the role will also include the preparation and review of VAT returns as well as the preparation of management accounts where required by our client portfolio.

    Experience/Skills required:

  • Practice experience
  • Strong bookkeeping knowledge of Xero, Sage and or other accounting systems
  • VAT return preparation, review and submission
  • Managements accounts preparation
  • Strong Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills
  • Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping for clients
  • Liaising with clients and dealing with client queries regarding Bookkeeping
  • Preparing, reviewing and submitting VAT Returns
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly management information
  • Raising sales invoices for clients
  • This role provides an excellent environment for an experienced bookkeeper to flourish and continue to extend their Bookkeeping knowledge long term
