Job Description

Location – Hybrid / MCC

Salary £45, – £55,

Consultant – Sarah Duffy

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hardworking individual, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within audit. The day-to-day role will be around 50% audit and 50% company accounts preparation, though will vary depending on needs. There will be opportunity for growth and to work on some of our larger clients.

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Holiday 22 days plus birthday, plus standard bank holidays.

  • Experience/Skills required:

  • 2 years or more practice experience in statutory audit.
  • Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them
  • Completing and concluding on audit fieldwork.
  • Group audit experience including completing consolidations is desirable
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, rules, and requirements.
  • Ideally some, accounts preparation experience for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Strong Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Responsibilities:

  • End to end completion of statutory audits.
  • Preparing and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Preparing corporation tax returns
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly management information
