We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Finance Assistant to support our finance team during a busy period on a part time basis / Monday to Thursday. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience using Sage and Sage Intacct, with strong transactional finance skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised finance professional who can quickly integrate into the team and provide immediate support across day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities – Finance Assistant

  • Processing purchase invoices, supplier payments, and expense claims
  • Raising and processing sales invoices
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity
  • Posting journals and assisting with month-end processes
  • Reconciling supplier and customer accounts
  • Managing finance inbox queries and responding promptly to internal/external stakeholders
  • Supporting cash allocation and credit control activities where required
  • Assisting with ad hoc finance administration and reporting
