We are working with an excellent business based in North Manchester who are looking to bring in a SHEQ Site Manager. The business is going through an excellent spell of long-term, sustainable growth and is now looking to bring a SHEQ Site Manager into the fold who will be central to the process implementation and improvement of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across sites.
SHEQ Site Manager - The Job:
- Produce the construction phase health and safety management plan along with all CDM associated documentation.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the company's health and safety management systems and policies.
- Liaison with the internal management team and external parties.
- Assist in the completion of PQQs for new business tenders.
- To liaise with client safety reps and regulatory authorities on all HSE issues.
- Deliver continual improvement of practice to unlock gains in the SHEQ performance and mitigate risk that could occur through SHEQ related issues.
- To monitor and report upon HSE performance in accordance with management reporting requirements, including the identification of areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
- To facilitate HSE visits from customers.
- Assist, where needed, with the development of the SHEQ management plans if applicable and coordination of review.
SHEQ Site Manager - Background:
- CDM Awareness.
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
- A minimum of 5 years within a SHEQ role.
- Have previous experience of utilities, civil engineering, infrastructure, rail or general construction projects/contracts.
- Understanding of HSE legislative requirements.
- Understanding of environmental aspects and impacts.

- £50-55k.
