We are working with an excellent business based in North Manchester who are looking to bring in a SHEQ Site Manager. The business is going through an excellent spell of long-term, sustainable growth and is now looking to bring a SHEQ Site Manager into the fold who will be central to the process implementation and improvement of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across sites.

SHEQ Site Manager - The Job:

  • Produce the construction phase health and safety management plan along with all CDM associated documentation.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the company's health and safety management systems and policies.
  • Liaison with the internal management team and external parties.
  • Assist in the completion of PQQs for new business tenders.
  • To liaise with client safety reps and regulatory authorities on all HSE issues.
  • Deliver continual improvement of practice to unlock gains in the SHEQ performance and mitigate risk that could occur through SHEQ related issues.
  • To monitor and report upon HSE performance in accordance with management reporting requirements, including the identification of areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
  • To facilitate HSE visits from customers.
  • Assist, where needed, with the development of the SHEQ management plans if applicable and coordination of review.

SHEQ Site Manager - Background:

  • CDM Awareness.
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • A minimum of 5 years within a SHEQ role.
  • Have previous experience of utilities, civil engineering, infrastructure, rail or general construction projects/contracts.
  • Understanding of HSE legislative requirements.
  • Understanding of environmental aspects and impacts.

SHEQ Site Manager - The Package:
